
Mandy Dageford, MSN, RN-BC, CENP
Chief Nursing Officer BioMandy joined PrairieCare in 2013. She is certified in Executive Nursing Practice and is a transformational leader, providing strategic direction for nursing services throughout the organization. She is responsible for overseeing quality, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards. She leads the organizations patient experience initiative and is passionate about decreasing stigma associated with mental illness.
Mandy is a registered nurse, with over 25 years of healthcare experience. She holds certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health nursing. Prior to joining PrairieCare, she had a long tenure in Hennepin County where she provided innovative leadership resulting in improved mental health care in various settings including emergency rooms, inpatient units, clinics and correctional settings.
Mandy has received a number of awards-including the 2014 March of Dimes Distinguished Nurse of the Year award, a Hennepin County Champion of Change award for improving identification, awareness, treatment and management of mental illness in correctional settings, A National Association of Counties achievement award for developing the Mental Health Response Program for the Hennepin County Jail, and a Pierce Family Trust award for clinical excellence and leadership in nursing.
She is currently a member of the American College of HealthCare Executives, the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST, the American Association of Nurse Executives, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Minnesota Organization of Nurse Leaders.
Mandy earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Augsburg College. She is a candidate for fellowship in the American College of HealthCare Executives.
