Lisa has been a licensed therapist for the past 14 years. She has spent the majority of her career focusing on Perinatal Mental Health and how it impacts individuals and families due to her own personal experience with Postpartum OCD. Lisa has extensive training in Perinatal Mental Health. She recently stepped down as the Co-Director of Pregnancy & Postpartum Support MN and as the State Coordinator for Postpartum Support International. Lisa enjoys working with individuals who want to explore their own identity and how it impacts their life. She also enjoys helping individuals understand their thoughts and behaviors and how to change them.

Lisa utilizes a non-judgmental and empowering approach that focuses on helping individuals find their strengths in order to cope with life’s challenges. She offers unconditional support to help in healing while actively challenging distortions or behaviors that interfere with progress. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic and existential therapy, and systemic therapy to customize treatment procedures to match the unique requirements of individuals, placing a strong emphasis on client participation.

Lisa only see’s patients struggling with Perinatal Mental Health unless a specific referral request is made.
