Nadia is a trained art therapist and engages these skills to serve as the foundation for therapeutic healing. Art therapy can help clients of all ages, despite artistic abilities. Art therapy is based on the idea that the creative process of artmaking is healing and life enhancing and is a form of nonverbal communication. The art making process allows clients to address and resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, enhance emotional expression, increase self-esteem and self-awareness and achieve insight. Nadia is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which shifts away from focusing on the content of problems and utilizes eye movements to aid clients in processing their issues for themselves. The goal is to eliminate negative images from ones mind and erase and replace with positive, tolerable images to provide relief.

Nadia is passionate about bringing healing to children and their families who present with concerns including but not limited to relational difficulties, mood instability, trauma experiences, sexuality, impulsive or risky behaviors, and emotion management.
