Dr. Marcouiller has worked in psychiatric-mental health care since 2012 and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in May 2015. She has had a variety of experiences in inpatient, outpatient, chemical dependency, juvenile detention centers and community mental health settings. Dr. Marcouiller is board-certified to provide psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, ongoing medication management, and psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan, but specializes in working with children and adolescents.
She is passionate about evidence-based research, with special interests in autism and maternal mental health. She finds gratification in being a preceptor, educating and mentoring the next generation of nurse practitioners. Dr. Marcouiller provides holistic, patient-centered care that includes family and caregiver collaboration, as well as a multidisciplinary treatment team approach.
When not traveling and exploring different cultures worldwide, Sarah enjoys being outdoors, playing sports, and spending time with her two French Bulldogs, family and friends.
