Kari has over 20 years of experience working with at-risk populations and individuals experiencing trauma. Kari received her Masters of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy in 2001. Kari has worked extensively with adolescent and young women struggling to achieve their desired outcomes. Kari has traveled all over the world providing crisis counseling work to remote areas suffering from natural disasters, working both with the victims and also the support people to develop long-term goals to help in the recovery process.

Kari has over a decade of experience working in disaster relief counseling. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative therapy. Kari has worked with at-risk populations, including individuals with cognitive impairments and developmental disabilities.

Kari has three daughters who keep her extremely active as a soccer, hockey and gymnastics mom. In her spare time, Kari is an on-call firefighter and she competes in multiple obstacle course races throughout the year.
