Ann joined the team at PrairieCare in 2017 with her professional experience of working with adolescents, couples, families, individuals and children. She is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Her passion is working with difficult teenagers, blended and broken families, as well as couples and individuals. She is easy to talk to because she provides a non-judgmental position in all circumstances. She knows how hard life can be at times, yet loves working with people to find solutions and new directions.

Her approach is collaborative, client-focused, client-driven, empathetic and creative. She believes there are many strategies out of every problem, and works with you to find the options. The therapeutic approaches she feels are most effective and useful are Internal Family Systems, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, receiving certifications in IFS, ART and DBT.

She feels most confident, and has most of her experience working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Panic Attacks, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and the LGBTQ community.

Ann is very compassionate about helping others help themselves, or learn how to empower their own choices and directions. It’s been said she can be kind of funny too!
