Laura Pekuri, DNP, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC

Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Winona State University
Doctorate: Doctor of Nursing Practice, University of Minnesota

Dr. Pekuri is board certified to provide psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for individuals of all ages, but she specializes in working with children and adolescents. She has been a psychiatric nurse since 2011, and she’s had a variety of experiences in inpatient, outpatient, partial hospital programs, intensive outpatient programs, and homecare. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in May 2022.

She has special interests in trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. She works collaboratively with patients and families to identify goals and treatment options.

In her free time, Dr. Pekuri enjoys running, hiking, crocheting, and spending time with her family and dog.
