Kris Svendahl is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a wealth of experience, spanning over 30 years in mental healthcare. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of supporting individuals across a wide range of settings. Currently, she works in both clinic-based care and specialized programs, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy.
Kris’s clinical focus is on treating individuals with complex trauma and treatment-resistant depression, populations that often require a thoughtful, individualized, and profoundly compassionate approach. She uses a trauma-informed lens in all aspects of care, ensuring each person’s unique needs are met. Her commitment to helping people find pathways to healing and stability, even when previous treatments have not been effective, underscores her dedication to individualized care.
