Brooklyn is a proud team member of our Maplewood location that serves children, adolescents, and their families in their mental health journey. Ever since starting at PrairieCare, she says one of the best things our organization does is that we are always striving to learn more, do better, and pivot the way they understand mental health and the needs of the community. She finds that every question, idea, and employee is highly valued and there is so much education and training around understanding mental health and how it continues to evolve—which directly plays a part in excellent patient care. Brooklyn has found that working in mental health allows her to dig deep and learn about herself and how she shows up in the world, which has motivated her to complete her LPCC license in the near future.
Brooklyn enjoys learning about herself. This also translates to the patients she cares for. Being able to see the growth in children and families when they make progress in their learning journey is a rewarding part of her role.
Outside of work, she enjoys being on the water, whether that is through swimming, boating, wakeboarding, kayaking, or paddle boarding.
