Maria graduated with her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008 and has been with Prairie Care since 2017. She has been a therapist in a variety of settings, including: Home based work, county mental health crisis services, short term child and adolescent inpatient unit and ER mental health assessments. Most of her work has been as an outpatient clinic therapist. Maria works with children, adolescents, adults and families.
Maria’s clinical style is compassionate, strength based and always aimed at helping clients develop self-compassion and self-love. Maria considers it a privilege to walk along side her clients in all walks of life as they navigate mental health challenges, trauma, life transitions and relationships.
Personal interests include hiking, skiing, camping, travelling, cooking and spending time with friends & family.
