The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve: Patriotic Employer Award

PrairieCare was recently recognized by the US Department of Defense as a Patriotic Employer for supporting the Minnesota National Guard. This award is given by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to employers who strongly support employees and their families serving their country. Sgt Jonna Board of the Minnesota National Guard has been employed by PrairieCare since 2008 and was recently promoted to Needs Assessment Supervisor, overseeing more than a dozen mental health counselors.

Jonna was deployed overseas in December of 2010 and her deployment was extended through April of 2011. Jonna nominated her (previous) supervisor, Todd Archbold and PrairieCare as an organization for the Patriotic Employer Award. “My co-workers continually provide excellent coverage, which allows me to focus on my tasks during annual training days and deployments. As my supervisor, Todd continually invests in my personal growth, strategically places me in roles where I am able to utilize my strengths, and while honoring my commitment to my Unit and service to our country.”

PrairieCare thanks Sgt Jonna Board and all of those in service to our country for their hard work and dedication.
