Dr. Ngo completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where he graduated with distinction in psychology in 2004. He completed his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2008. He then moved to Portland to complete his residency in General Psychiatry in 2011 and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Oregon Health and Science University in 2013. He moved to Minnesota in 2016 and became board-certified in addiction medicine in 2020. He currently works at PrairieCare’s Brooklyn Park Inpatient Hospital.
Dr. Ngo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, specifically with inpatient care. He has teaching experience at both the University of Minnesota Medical School and Oregon Health and Science University. He has given lectures and has presented at conferences about trauma-informed care and adolescent substance use.
