Dr. Richardson has been in private practice for the past 16 years, specializing in outpatient and acute inpatient psychiatric care. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex psychiatric and medical cases, correctional psychiatry, and Bipolar Disorder. He is also on the faculty of the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry. In addition to his work at PrairieCare, Dr. Richardson also serves as the adult psychiatry service chief at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. He was recently appointed as director of adult services at PrairieCare Medical Group and will be providing patient care at Woodbury, Edina and Chaska.
