Melissa joined PrairieCare in 2020 as an inpatient therapist. Prior to PrairieCare, Melissa worked at an autism day program for children and adolescents with ASD. Melissa also has experience working in residential settings and providing school-based mental health services. 

Melissa is passionate about meeting patients and families where they are and working on small changes that can have an impact on their overall family functioning. Melissa uses an eclectic approach with skills from CBT, DBT, and ACT. Outside of work, Melissa likes to spend time with her two dogs and enjoys cooking, baking, being active and anything outdoors.
