Marta is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a variety of clinical and other life experiences. She works in the Adult IOP in Woodbury, providing group and individual therapy, as well as assisting in the coordination of the family program. She has expertise in the areas of eating disorders, couples counseling, and has worked with both adolescents and adults. Marta has previously worked with athletes, dancers, creative professionals, schools and as an employee assistance professional. With a client centered-approach, she has utilized alternative modalities in therapy, such as restorative yoga, movement therapy, visualization to reduce anxiety and art therapy.
Marta enjoys pursuing active and creative endeavors with her family, and has extensive experience as an athlete and coach in running and cross country skiing.
