Dr. Jordan Madden has worked in healthcare for nearly 10 years in different roles. His healthcare career began as a certified nursing assistant in a long-term care environment where he discovered his passion for providing care for others, especially those with dementia. Dr. Madden earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Minnesota to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As a provider, Dr. Madden places an emphasis on understanding the unique needs of each patient he encounters, focusing on the biopsychosocial aspects of the individual in order to develop a more person-centered treatment plan. He understands the importance of both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches to mental health care and supports patients in making informed decisions for their mental health care. Additionally, he is sensitive to topics including gender identity, race, and other current societal or cultural topics.
In his free time, Dr. Madden enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, reading (especially thrillers), and taking care of his many plants.
