Amy received her masters degree in art therapy from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She utilizes art-based interventions based on the clients needs. Amy supports clients in a holistic approach, encompassing the entire individual with a practice including mindfulness. She also has a range of cognitive behavioral therapies, psycho-education, relaxation techniques and expressive therapies. She collaborates with the client and their families to utilize coping skills that can change their lives in a positive way.
Amy has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in hospitals, in-clinic and in-home settings. Amy takes great effort in guiding clients in discovering their strengths to modify their thinking and behaviors in order to live more satisfying and productive lives.
Amy is jewelry designer and painter who enjoys assisting others in their creative endeavors.
