Dr. Ali R. Samikoglu joined the PrairieCare team in 2023 as an attending physician for our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program. He has a diverse educational background including physics, electrical engineering, and manufacturing. Upon focusing on medicine, Dr. Samikoglu started a pre-medical program at New York University before coming to Minnesota to attend graduate-level classes in clinical research, epidemiology, statistics, and biochemistry. He completed his medical degree at the University of Minnesota and the residency program at Hennepin County Medical Center – Regions Hospital.

Dr. Samikoglu is an Adult Psychiatrist at our Edina Clinic and our Medical Office Building in Brooklyn Park.

In his free time, he enjoys activities in nature including scuba diving, skiing, mountain climbing, biking, cooking, and learning to sail. As well as spending time with his family.
